To start things off, the base model Panamera will be driven by a 4.8L 8-cylinder engine which yields a marvelous 400 horsepower. The Turbo model will come with a twin-turbocharged engine that will boost out 500 horsepower! The Panamera’s engine has features that push the car to its limits, such as cylinder specific knock control, resonance induction intake manifold, direct fuel injection, and “VarioCam Plus” continuously variable inlet valve timing and lift.
The great handling can be attributed to features like power assisted steering with variable ratio, PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), and enhanced PSM (Porsche Stability Management. To keep the dark streets lit, this car has advanced Bi-Xenon headlights which feature dynamic leveling, a headlight washer system, a welcome home function, and an adaptive lighting system.
It wouldn’t be a luxury sedan without plenty of interior features. The on board computer will allow you to keep track of total mileage, trip mileage, time, outside temperature and speed. The instrument cluster has a high-resolution 4.8” color display with a gear indicator, service interval indicator, ambient temperature display, and warning indicators.
