2011 Infiniti M37
Introducing the New 2011 Infiniti M37: Power, Luxury and Style
It’s 2011 and Infiniti is freshening up its luxury mid-size offering by replacing the M35 with the 2011 Infiniti M37. This new feature packed luxury sedan is poised to compete directly with its European rivals. Typical for Infiniti, the M37 is packed with technology and standard luxury and safety options. Starting under $50,000, the M37 has a price advantage over European counterparts that are similarly equipped.
The all new 2011 M37 from Infiniti is rear-wheel drive, but it gets all-wheel drive added in the M37x variation. The power plant is an impressive 3.7 liter DOHC 24-valve V6 that outputs 330 horse power and 270 pound feet of torque. Connecting the power plant to the tires is a seven-speed automatic with manual paddles. The driver can select between four shift modes (Eco, Snow, Sport, and Standard). Eco mode provides the best fuel economy and Sport the fastest performance, holding gear longer while accelerating or turning into a corner.
The new 2011 M37 looks like it came to play. Styling is aggressive and gives a clue to the performance under the hood. It looks ready to pounce on an unsuspecting Audi or Mercedes with its bulging fender flares and large grill. 18-inch alloy wheels shod with V-speed-rated high performance tires come standard along with a long list of exterior technology, power folding mirrors, sunroof, bi-xenon automatic headlights, automatic wipers and more.
The 2011 Infiniti M37 is loaded with all the safety features expected in a luxury sedan. Standard features are four wheel anti-lock brakes, front airbags, side curtain airbags, active head restraints to minimize whiplash, plus traction and stability control. The high-tech theme continues into the cabin of the Infiniti M37. Included in the standard package are a rearview camera, Bluetooth, leather upholstery, a six speaker stereo with CD, XM satellite radio, and an iPod jack.
Anyone considering a mid-size, sporty, luxury car in the same bracket as an Audi A6, Mercedes E-Class, or BMW 5 series should look closely at the all new 2011 Infiniti M37. The M37 delivers a lot of luxury, technology, and performance with a lower base price than its competition.
