The base model will come standard with a 4.8L 8-cylinder engine capable of producing an amazing 400 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The Panamera’s engine has features that push the car to its limits, such as cylinder specific knock control, resonance induction intake manifold, direct fuel injection, and “VarioCam Plus” continuously variable inlet valve timing and lift.

The handling is outstanding largely due to the multilink LSA (light, stable, agile) suspension with stabilizer bar, double wishbone front suspension, and the enhanced PSM (Porsche Stability Management). To keep the dark streets lit, this car has advanced Bi-Xenon headlights which feature dynamic leveling, a headlight washer system, a welcome home function, and an adaptive lighting system.
